  • Title: Ouch! My leg! Let’s go to the hospital! 痛い!足が!病院に行きましょう!

    スチューデントブック2のユニット6に出てくるこのチャントでは、ハッピーバレー1よりもさらに多くの体の部分を紹介します。ストーリータイムの後に動画を再生して、自分の体のその部分を指さすことができるかどうかチェックしましょう。もう一度動画をみてから、「What’s the Matter?」を歌います。ハチ(ハッピーバレー1ユニット8)やクラゲ(PhonanimalsのJilly Jellyfish)のフラッシュカードを使って、生徒が体のパーツが描かれたカードで触って「Ouch!」と言います。皆が「What’s the matter?」とききます。生徒が「My … hurts」で答えたら、痛いところにつける絆創膏をもらいます。上達していくと、ハッピーバレー1ユニット7の体の部分も復習して使いましょう。もう一人の生徒が看護師になって絆創膏を「Here you are」と言って渡します。

Happy Valley is designed for kids as old as 6 or as young as 2 who come with a parent. The Student Book contains 10 Units, plus 5 review activities. Each Unit includes a story as told by the characters and narrator, chants and songs for all vocabulary, a simple dialogue to get kids talking in simple phrases and a variety of activities to do in class. The vocabulary is laid out in the order of the chants and songs, making it easy to follow along, sing and move. 4 activities are provided in each Unit, with lots of stickers, coloring and matching. In the back of the book there is an extra activity and song as well as a picture dictionary and the bus route for tracking students' attendance and target achievement. A sticker pack is attached to the back cover so nothing gets lost.
