Classroom Tip
Dance and sing with Pinka. Students can use their fingers and toes to count 1 to 10. This is a great introduction to next week’s 1 to 10 song. Counting the heads of each student, how many heads, shoulders, knees and toes are in your classroom? Kids will love trying to count all the toes! Have students jump or hop. How many times can they do it? How many times can they turn around before falling? Have fun using their bodies to learn numbers!

At Home Tip
Dance and sing with Pinka. Count your and your child’s fingers and toes, practicing numbers 1 to 10. As you go about your day, count how many stairs you climb together, count how many blocks your child has. Using English, count as many objects you can find or count how any times your child can jump or run back and forth.
